Lenox House offers people of all faiths and backgrounds various opportunities for quiet reflection and prayer.
Meditation
Our Saturday morning meditation practice is open to the public. No prior experience or religious affiliation is required. Seasonally, we offer retreats aimed at deepening meditation practice. Click to see all upcoming sessions and retreats, or contact us to be placed on our mailing list.
Spiritual Direction
For those seeking a companion for their spiritual journey, Spiritual Direction also is available.
Accommodations
As a house of spirituality, reflection, and hospitality, Lenox House has 3 rooms to accommodate individuals (singles or couples) making personal / private retreats or attending Sabbatical programs. All rooms are ensuite and include Wi-Fi, TV, free off-street parking and the usual amenities. Given the unique nature of a private retreat, individuals / couples discuss particular expectations in advance with the director of Lenox House.
The Hermitage is a serene, efficiency-sized space, separate from the main house. It is ideal for someone looking for a period of rest and solitude. Extended stays are available in consultation with the director of Lenox House.
Sabbaticals
A residence of the Oblates of Mary Immaculate, Lenox House also provides individualized, live-in Sabbatical Experiences for clergy and religious, who because of time constraints cannot attend a full sabbatical program, or who, for whatever reasons, prefer a personal, directed experience.
Contributions
Though there is no set charge for the use of Lenox House, the upkeep of the facility is dependent upon the financial generosity of individuals and groups who enjoy its hospitality. Appropriate donation can be discussed with the director.
